New Baby Update

I started having more discomfort with my contractions and some pelvic pressure and cramping on Saturday, so we came back into the hospital. I was given some more medications to stop the contractions and they seem to be very well controlled right now. I'm on antepartum now and I'm more than happy to stay for awhile. I saw my regular OB this morning and he wants to keep me here for the week, to get me to 32 weeks, and go from there. Sounds like a plan.

Here are the pictures from this weekend, as promised. Joaquin and Javier went visiting and I stayed in bed. That's my job. Enjoy.

Bedrest Update

We went to the OB today. He says everything looks good and he'll see me in 2 weeks. We're at 30 weeks and 1 day, which is when we met Joaquin. I'll try to post some pictures from the weekend tomorrow.

Saturday Photos

Update

I was discharged yesterday to my parents' house. Mom now really has her hands full with Joaquin and me. It's very good to be out of the hospital and we're taking it one day at a time. It's great to see Joaquin all the time and be able to give him lots of kisses, even though I can't hold him. We're just relaxing and praying and everyday is a good day and a blessing. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. I'll try to get some new pics of Joaquin posted soon. He's growing and changing so much. He loves to play ball and scream, "ball!"

New Baby Update

Hello All. For those who don't know, we've been in the hospital with contractions since Wednesday night. They seem to be getting under control and I've been moved from the labor and delivery unit to the antepartum unit. So far, no cervical change, so that's great news. Sorry to anyone who has called. My phone battery died yesterday morning. The baby looks great on the monitor and we had an ultrasound today and got to see our sweet baby's face. We don't know yet when we'll be going home. I'll try to keep the blog updated. Hope everyone's doing well and we'll talk to you soon. Joaquin's having too much fun at E-mom and PawPaw's house.
